Music Mixes – Favourite Artists

This section contains Mixes of my favourite songs of the few Artists or Groups that produced enough good material through the years to warrant their own mix, in chronological order to summarize their career.

Pascal's Music Mix - Depeche Mode

Depeche Mode kept pumping hits after hits from the early 1980s to the 1990s and well deserve a place in my favourite artists.

Pascal's Music Mix - The Cure

Arguably my favourite band of all times, The Cure came onto the scene in the late 1970s and continued providing hits after hits through the 1980s and until the early 1990s, but are still performing these days with new band members backing the mercurial Robert Smith. After missing a few opportunities, I finally got the chance to see them live in Montreal in 1984 and otherwise always enjoyed their live shows videos, especially the famous Cure in Orange.

Pascal's Music Mix - The Ramones

The first Punk band and my favourite, The Ramones pioneered the genre with their fun songs lasting on average around 2 minutes. I had the chance to see them live at Le Plateau in Montreal in 1980 (see my memorabilia page for more details on this unforgettable concert).

Pascal's Music Mix - Kraftwerk

One of my favourite groups of all times, Kraftwerk was a pioneer of electronic music in the 1970s and early 1980s, who unfortunately is not credited enough for what they did for that type of music and the ones that derived from it. I was blessed to have the chance of seeing them live in Montreal in 1981, a show I will never forget.

Pascal's Music Mix - The Stranglers

One of my favourite groups of the 1970s and 1980s, The Stranglers gave us some great Punk classics in the 1970s and managed to evolve to stay relevant in the 1980s and give us more classics. I had the chance of finally seeing them live in Montreal in 1983.
